BLS for Healthcare Providers

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

As mandated by the American Heart Association (AHA):
All students—new or renewing—must have the current AHA Student Workbook or eBook Manual for the course.

You may:

Purchase it before class and bring it with you, or
Pick it up on the day of class before training begins.

If you already own the current edition of the workbook or eBook Manual, simply bring it to class and pay only the course fee.

📍 Important: Without the current AHA Student Workbook or eBook Manual, you will be required to purchase one on-site before starting the class.

Who should take this class?

This course is for healthcare professionals, nursing students, EMT students, and EMS who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. The use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

Refund-Cancellation Policy:

Students have the right to reschedule their reservation for up to but no more than Fourteen (14) days from the date of their registration. Students also have the right to cancel their reservation and obtain a full refund as long as arrangements are made 24 hours prior to the class. A $25.00 cancellation fee will apply for those cancellations made within 24 hours of the class.

Please Note: Refunds cannot be issued to those students who have purchased the online AHA Web Key (Online & Skills Test) course.
